BIBF Centre for Islamic Finance is seeking applications from suitable part-time candidates for teaching in the following specialised areas:

Centre for Banking - CFA charter holders for CFA Training

BIBF is seeking full-time applicants from CFA charter holders with teaching/working experience for running CFA training programmes. Candidates should be willing to travel for conducting courses.

Centre for Banking - Bi-Lingual Lecturers Required (English / Arabic)

The Center for Banking at The Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance is seeking full-time/part time bilingual lecturers (fluency in reading, writing and speaking in English and Arabic is necessary). The lecturer will be expected to teach basic to intermediate courses in the fields of General Banking, Credit, Anti Money Laundering, Investments, SME financing, Compliance and Risk; assist in developing new programmes; carry out Centre related work; and contribute to the operations of the Center for Banking. Candidates should be willing to travel at short notice and should be able to work within a team of diverse faculty and staff with demanding work load in a competitive environment.

The candidate must have completed Masters degree in a relevant Banking and Finance related discipline. Holders of international professional qualifications will be given preference in the selection process. Practical experience in banking will be desirable. Bahraini or Arabic speaking candidates will be given preference in the selection process. Compensation will be commensurate with the level of qualifications and experience.

Centre for Banking - Part time positions in teaching diploma programmes

BIBF is seeking applications from suitable candidates for teaching Economics and Quantitative methods in internationally validated diploma programmes at the undergraduate level. Candidates should have experience in teaching undergraduate programmes in an international environment and should have experience of implementing Quality Assurance practices in learning and teaching.

Minimum educational qualification required is a Masters degree or its equivalent in Economics and Finance related subjects.

Centre for Insurance - Lecturers

The Position:
Lecturer in Centre for Insurance. The position is normally taken by talented individuals who are motivated, reliable and excellent performers. The Lecturer is responsible for delivering a variety of Non-Life Insurance courses. He / she will be responsible for preparation, administration and evaluation of assignments and tests. The position will also require the candidate to be able to contribute to other activities within the Centre for Insurance Centre.

The Individual:
Candidates should have at minimum a University degree and a professional qualification (ACII, FCII, CPCU, etc) in specialisations related to Insurance and Risk Management. He/she should also have a minimum of 5 years working experience in the Non-Life Insurance Industry. Fluency in spoken and written English is a requirement. Fluency in spoken and written Arabic is an advantage.
