Full-Time Morgan Program Advisor

Bahrain Institute of Banking & Finance is seeking a full time “Program Advisor” to work with the Morgan International Team:

The candidate must meet the following requirements:

  • The Program Advisor will serve as primary point of contact for candidates, assist in the implementation of the marketing plans, handle enrollment and post enrollment activities, promote the products, increase awareness and market share.

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement and follow on public sales targets and corporate accounts under supervision of the Regional Director.
  • Follow up on marketing leads, and on other leads generated.
  • Create, update and maintain databases; approach companies, meet with decision makers and generate corporate deals.
  • Meet with candidates, act as advisor and answer their questions. Register candidates, issue invoices, follow up on collections.
  • Provide inputs to the marketing department to ensure leads’ generation and market share growth.
  • Conduct ongoing competitive analysis with respect to the assigned products & collects testimonials from previous students for better marketing intelligence and customer service.
  • Ensure each student receive outstanding service by providing students with a friendly and supportive environment, maintaining outstanding standards and solid technical knowledge along with other components of student service.
  • Set class schedules; update schedules to reflect cancellations, reschedules, additions, and/or modifications of classes in coordination with the Operations Department.
  • Under the supervision of the Regional Director and the Operations Department assign instructors to classes, follow up on students’ satisfaction with instructors and calculates instructors’ fees.
  • Explain policies and procedures to students and their employers; oversee compliance with Morgan’s policies, in order to keep quality consistency in customer service.
  • Assist students in acquiring memberships, and filling exams’ applications.
  • Ensure passing rate enhancement and proper follow up on students’ homework, attendance, and complaints.
  • Place order of marketing materials and classroom materials before the start of programs. Keep track of that as part of the inventory responsibility.
  • Gather, enter, and/or update data on MRM to maintain students and visitors’ records.
  • Act as substitute for other Program Advisor when required.

Academic Qualification & Skills:

  • Bachelor in Business Administration or equivalent
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in marketing and or sales
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Core Job Responsibilities:

The role holder is responsible for ensuring high quality delivery of BIBF and partner University undergraduate programs and ensuring all academic standards are maintained and aligned with local regulatory requirements. The role holder is also responsible for the academic health of the program content and delivery to ensure positive student experience.

  • Ensure the academic health of programs offered, by constantly evaluating and developing the curriculum for BIBF programs, and collaborating with partner Universities for programs offered through them
  • Ensure compliance of all programs, contents, etc. with the local regulatory requirements set by Higher Education Council (HEC) and Ministry of Labour (MoL); mediate between partner Universities and the local authorities to ensure compliance to all regulatory requirements
  • Teach and manage learning activities on a range of undergraduate programs provided by BIBF when required
  • Oversee the planning, preparation, review, and editing of program schedules
  • Oversee efficient communication of the program schedule with faculty (full time, part time and visiting) and timetables for students
  • Liaise and maintain regular contact with partner Universities (as required) for day-to-day management of the programs
  • Recommend and implement various innovative teaching techniques that create interest, understanding and enthusiasm amongst students
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of student progress, achievement and attendance and provide regular feedback to students
  • Follow up with students for any course submissions, case study analysis, etc. assigned to them as a part of the program requirement; verify and assess/grade all submissions and provide timely feedback (as required)
  • Participate in administration and marking of exams and other assessments
  • Monitor performance of teaching staff (full time, part time and visiting) and provide timely and corrective feedback
  • Support the Department’s academic care of its students and ensure enhancement of their learning, personal development and achievement by providing proper counselling; provide student guidance and assist students in their career shaping and development
  • Communicate effectively with students and colleagues, using face-to-face, telephone, written and electronic communication modes as appropriate
  • Manage transfer of student between BIBF and partner Universities for any undergraduate programs; provide adequate orientation to students to ensure their smooth transfer
  • Promote BIBF programs by partnering with marketing through roadshows, school visits etc.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on undergraduate program-related publicity, including providing up to date program information for the BIBF website update and calendar listings
  • Undertake any other responsibilities in the department, as directed by the Head of Department

Full-Time Assessment Centre Manager

The Leadership & Management Centre is seeking a Manager for the Assessment Centre.

The role holder is responsible for supervising assessment activities, analysis of tests and reporting results to clients both internally and externally. The role holder will provide support services to other centers and departments in terms of assessments and placement needs by following appropriate procedures and best practices offered by BIBF. Additionally, the role holder is responsible for creating customized assessment and development programs/services for clients and creating awareness of the Assessment Center to enhance business development.

The candidate must meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/ Graduate degree in Business Administration / Psychology / Social Science / Management or relevant field
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration / Psychology / Social Science / Management or relevant field is preferred 
  • Holds recognized Test Administration Certificates / Accreditations
  • Holds an Assessment Centre Manager Certification
  • Holds an Assessment Certification from any recognized institute – Assessment Certification Examination (ACE), CPP Certification programs
  • Has more than 5-7 years of experience in a similar or supervisory role

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the daily activities of the Assessment Centre and assessment tests offered by BIBF
  • Provide support to students, participants and other centers and departments at BIBF
  • Comply with testing guidelines and legal requirements established for administration of the various testing programs in BIBF
  • Facilitate test administration; establish testing schedules; ensure integrity and quality of testing environment, including security of testing materials and test scores by monitoring test records, custody and return procedures of the tests
  • Score tests both by machine and/or by hand as appropriate; maintain computer and written records of test use and scores
  • Ensure effective control over booking of assessment lab for the tests; communicate with the participants either by phone or email and ensure attendance
  • Administer the tests to participants in compliance with the guidelines and policies set by BIBF
  • Ensure accurate and error free data entries; update results; write reports and deliver the results to the proper participants
  • Design and create a comprehensive range of services and processes to be used for recruitment and development purposes
  • Design and create a range of developmental programs which incorporates assessment and training of participants
  • Create exposure and awareness of conducting assessments and the Assessment Centre and prepare proposals and follow-up on potential business projects
  • Prepare annual budget for the Center, subject to Head approval and monitor the financial performance of the Center to ensure alliance with the budget and the BIBF budget guidelines
  • Promote good customer relations by consistently providing premier customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude, and willingness to help at all times

  • Minimum 5 years knowledge of the subject area, previous training, coaching or tutoring experience is a plus
  • Minimum 7 years real-estate industry experience
  • Competent & expert in the Real Estate field

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Teach and manage learning activities on a range of courses provided by BIBF and associated subjects (standard, professional, customized and/or academic) courses
  • Provide support and recommendations on innovative teaching/training techniques that create interest, understanding and enthusiasm amongst participants
  • Assist the planning and implementation of a high quality curriculum; manage and monitor the quality and relevance of course content and methods of delivery
  • Review syllabus, textbooks, course materials, manuals, lecture notes, handouts, visual and other aids; document and record the course contents in alignment with BIBF’s policies and procedures
  • Follow up with students for any course submissions, case study analysis, assessment reports, etc. assigned to them as a part of the course/program requirement; verify and assess/grade all submissions (as required)
  • Act as an Assessor or internal verifier, if appropriate; else identify assessors as required for the course

Skills Required:

  • Experience with Learning Management Systems is preferred
  • Experience with creating interactive digital content including quizzes, polls and gamification elements for LMS
  • Knowledge in e-Learning authoring tools, such as: Adobe Captivate, Adobe Presenter and Camtasia is preferred
  • Experience in e-Learning development and Articulate 360 is preferred
  • Experience with HTML and audio and video editing software preferred
  • Graphic design and layout skills
  • Creative and innovative
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Planning, organizational and time management skills
  • Customer and Client management skills
  • Multitasking skill while paying attention to detail
