The Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) has recently launched a series of Public Awareness Sessions in the Information Technology field delivered free of charge in order to further raise awareness under the title of ‘Tech Talks’.
The BIBF Tech Talks are delivered by international experts, who shed light on the latest global IT trends.
The TechTalks series has already delivered two sessions with an attendance reaching 300 beneficiaries, with discussions about Big Data, Internet of Things, Cloud Solutions and including guidelines on how to use modern powerful tools which are “must have” for any cloud-oriented company.
Commenting on the session, the BIBF’s Head of Operations, IT and Project Management, Mr. Ahmed Naeemi said “We aim to deliver these sessions to the public as a reference hub of IT topics, in order to further advance the knowledge, experience and expertise of our attendees; the public and various sectors, in regards to global IT trends that are currently evolving and will continue to affect our daily operations. It is our duty to keep abreast of the latest technology in order for us to improve our operations and ensure efficiency and effectiveness.”
Mr. Naeemi, also added, “IT today is at the heart of our companies, business and everyday actions across all sectors, that it becomes essential to raise the level of public awareness about the importance of IT in our lives, and how to deal with different situations as and when they occur.”
