An Egyptian Delegation Visits the BIBF for Insurance Training

The Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) received an Egyptian delegation from “Misr Insurance Takaful Company” to discuss aspects of cooperation between Bahrain and Egypt in the field of Insurance Training.

The Egyptian Delegation was represented by Misr Insurance Takaful Company’s Chairman and CEO, Mr. Ahmed Morsy with the presence of Dr. Mohammed Yousif, who met with the BIBF’s Director, Dr. Ahmed Abdul Hameed Al Shaikh and Head of the Insurance Centre, Ms. Manal Mashkoor.

The participants discussed mutual aspects of cooperation in the field of Insurance training, as Mr. Morsy expressed his interest in cooperating with the BIBF. The BIBF is internationally recognised as a centre of excellence in training and development projecting Bahrain prominently as a training hub in the region.

The BIBF’s Director, Dr. Ahmed Al Shaikh welcomed the delegation and stated, “The BIBF welcomes all aspects of cooperation with various companies in different fields; we are delighted to share our knowledge and experience for the development of various sectors. We are working with our partners in Egypt to transfer our training model for the Insurance sector on an international level.”

Due to the international trust in the BIBF as a centre of excellence for specialised training, an increased number of delegations are visiting the institute to discuss ways of cooperation, whereby training arrangements are done for human capital development regionally and on a global scale.
