The BIBF takes part at the Middle East Military Technology Conference (MEMTEC)

The Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) participated in a session at the Middle East Military Technology Conference (MEMTEC), in collaboration with the Bahrain Centre for Strategic, International, and Energy Studies (Derasat), which is held alongside the Bahrain International Defense Exhibition from October 29th – 39th, 2019.

The session discussed the advances in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its impact on armed forces both now and in the future.

This participation comes as a further support to the conference outcomes to showcase how global developments and advancements in the defense sector can strengthen defense capabilities in the military field.

Mr. Amin Al Tajer, Researcher in Artificial Intelligence at the BIBF, pointed out the most important developments in the field of AI and its current and future effects on the armed forces by reviewing the experiences of several countries in this vital field.
