The Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) received a financial contribution from Kuwait Finance House
The Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) received a financial contribution from Kuwait Finance House to launch the Islamic finance e-Learning platform that will revolve around the Standards issued by the Accounting and Auditing Organisation for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI). The agreement was signed on behalf of the BIBF by the Deputy Director, Dr Ahmed Abdulhameed Al Shaikh, and on behalf of KFH by the CEO, Mr. Abdul hakeem Al Khayyat.
The platform will be a key reference for the Islamic Finance industry and is meant to be “easily accessible and widely affordable one-stop e-learning solution”. This agreement with the BIBF is in line with the Bank’s vision to lead the international development of Islamic financial services as well as to develop a qualified generation in the industry who are experienced with the standards of AAOIFI.
