BIBF Official Knowledge Partner of Unbound Bahrain 2019

Manama: Bahrain Institute for Banking & Finance (BIBF) has been announced as the Official Knowledge Partner for MENA’s most exciting innovation festival, Unbound Bahrain, to take place this March 6 & 7 at Bahrain’s National Theatre in Manama.

Unbound, in partnership with the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB), and supported by StartUp Bahrain, will bring its globally established, award-winning innovation festival back to Bahrain as the anchor event of StartUp Bahrain week.

Celebrating the Kingdom’s commitment to fueling a digital future for the MENA region, the BIBF will introduce its “Technopreneurship” Programme, targeted at Startups, SMEs and creative individuals who aim to learn the knowledge and skills that will prepare them to start their Technopreneurship journey.

Unbound Bahrain will attract and bridge the gap between 4,000+ startups, investors and businesses, who will travel to Bahrain to hear from 100+ influential speakers, uncover pioneering ideas and take part in immersive brand experiences, hackathons, startup battles and networking sessions.

On this occasion, Director of the BIBF, Dr. Ahmed Abdulhameed Al Shaikh, stated, “We are pleased to partner with Unbound as the Official Knowledge Partner for Unbound Bahrain 2019, as this collaboration is aligned with the BIBF strategy to become the leading Digital Learning Hub in the Region. It is also aligned with the Institute’s initiatives to keep up with the latest emerging technologies and continuously offer new learning opportunities to the market, focusing on the latest trends and topics to encourage knowledge sharing and experience across all sectors.”

On his part, CEO and Founder of Unbound, Daniel Seal, said, “We’re incredibly excited to be a part of the Kingdom’s emerging innovation ecosystem and the anchor event of Startup Bahrain Week, supported by the Bahrain Economic Development Board. We are thrilled to have partnered with the progressive and main training arm of the financial sector, BIBF, to contribute to the future development of Bahrain’s digital economy and develop the knowledge and skills of the Kingdom’s startups and business professionals.

All concerned in this field are urged to participate in the festival by visiting www.unbound.live/Bahrain; and for any enquiries about the event, you may contact Unbound via info@unbound.live.
