BIBF Celebrates Bahrain National Sports Day

In line with the National Sports Day celebrated across the Kingdom, the Bahrain Institute for Banking and Finance (BIBF) organised a walk-in exercise for its staff and faculty member near the campus in Juffair.

In implementation of the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister, on encouraging wider participation in sports on this day to raise awareness of the importance of sports for all.

The BIBF Director, Dr. Ahmed Abdul Hameed Al Shaikh stressed the keenness of the Institute to motivate all its staff, faculty, and students to raise awareness of the importance of sports for society in general, because of its great benefits on physical and mental health. He also pointed to the Institute’s interest to participate in such events in coordination with the concerned authorities in the Kingdom.

Dr. Al Shaikh also expressed his thanks and appreciation to all those who participated in the walking event, noting at the same time the achievements of BIBF students in all the sport events and competitions the Institute participated in last year.
