The BIBF achieves Amazon Web Services Training Provider Status
The BIBF has achieved Amazon Web Services (AWS) authorised training provider status in Bahrain, whereby the institute will deliver numerous AWS training courses to the public in the Kingdom.
The AWS courses offer a broad set of cloud computing training, storage, database, analytics, application, and deployment services that help organisations move faster, lower IT costs, and scale applications. The practical implementation of AWS courses are designed around three primary types of training that comprise specialised teams delivering cloud-based solutions: solutions architect, sysops administrator, and developer.
The BIBF, with its aim to enhance human capital development in the Kingdom, will offer the AWS training to individuals and organisations to bridge the knowledge gap in the market about the booming cloud computing services, from the fundamentals of AWS as well as advanced topics.
The BIBF will offer the AWS training courses through masterclasses at the institute and through customised training courses. Achieving Training Provider Status means the BIBF is now part of the AWS Partner Network (APN). The APN is the global partner programme focusing on helping partners build a successful AWS-based business by providing great business, technical, marketing, and go-to-market support.
Commenting on this partnership, the Director of the BIBF, Dr. Ahmed AlShaikh said: “We are delighted to work with Amazon Web Services to make these pertinent training courses available for the public. Our main focus is human capital development in the Kingdom and we continuously strive to provide tools and solutions which can benefit our students and learners to implement in their daily operations.”
The BIBF’s Head of Operations, IT and Project Management, Mr. Ahmed Naeemi added: “We know how important it is to always be up-to-date with the latest trends in IT, as it is one of the fastest growing industries around the world. Therefore our goal is to collaborate with different experts, like AWS, to offer specialised training programmes tailored to develop specific IT skills and competencies.”
