Understanding Islamic Finance

The Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance, in collaboration with major Islamic Banking corporations in Bahrain, has launched a public awareness campaign about Islamic Finance.

This campaign, in partnership with Kuwait Finance House, Bahrain Islamic Bank, AlBaraka Bank, Ithmaar Bank, AlSalam Bank, and Khaleeji Commercial Bank.

The campaign uses animation and snippets of information to introduce the public to the basic concepts of Islamic Finance with the objective of raising the public’s awareness on the fundamentals of Islamic Finance dealings and transactions, such as Murabaha, Diminishing Musharaka, Islamic Credit Cards, in addition to a comparison between conventional and Islamic Banks etc.

Furthermore, a series of “Did You Know” posts that introduce facts and statistics about Islamic Finance.

The informative videos  and posts have been shared on main Social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter; in addition to the BIBF website.
