The Financial Literacy Summer Camp Programme is a unique and exclusive education programme that is fun, effective and valuable for young adults. The purpose behind this money management programme is to educate the youth within the Kingdom of Bahrain early in age starting with the fundamental consideration of wants versus needs, as well as the basics of not spending more than making.
In addition, the foremost objective of the programme is to contribute to the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 by preparing a young pool of talent for the marketplace, and eventually turning them into brand ambassadors.
The programme will include a set of lectures, workshops as well as three on-sight field trips with the purpose of assisting candidates in observing the electronic network for financial transactions, observing the trading market up-close and envisaging the future of the banking sector by visiting different organisations within the Kingdom. The series of workshops will encompass the following topics: What is Money, Simulation Trading, Money Talk, in addition to Coding and Trading.
The last session will be the “Money Management Challenge” that will wrap up the learning outcomes of the programme and will examine the participant’s level after the workshops.
This programme stems from the BIBF’s belief in the importance of partnering with various local and international institutions to develop young adults with practical application, through providing them with real training opportunities in the best and largest institutions operating in various sectors.
The BIBF and the Royal Humanitarian Foundation extend their appreciation to SICO Bank for their valuable sponsorship aimed primarily at inspiring the youth and their commitment for a bright future.
