The BIBF signs a MoU with CTM360 to provide Board & Executive Cybersecurity Training
The Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CTM360, a leading Cybersecurity company in Bahrain, to offer Board and Executive Cybersecurity Training. The MoU was signed at the BIBF premises by Dr. Ahmed Abdul Hameed Al Shaikh, Director of the BIBF, and Mr. Mirza Asrar Baig, CEO & Founder of CTM360.
Under the MoU, the two parties agreed to work together to provide Cybersecurity awareness sessions for Board Members and Senior Management Teams. The sessions aim to strengthen the knowledge of Board Members and ensure they have the necessary tools and connections to make Cybersecurity-related business decisions. Furthermore, the training address key topics and critical aspects of Cybersecurity that are essential to Board Members and Senior Management Teams.
On this occasion, the BIBF’s Director, Dr. Ahmed Abdul Hameed AlShaikh stated, “At the BIBF, we realise how important it is to stay up-to-date in the critical topics of Cybersecurity. Cybersecurity is no longer the IT department’s problem; it starts at the top and is everyone’s business. Our cybersecurity training will help Board Members build the foundation to maintain a vigilant Cybersecurity compliance programme and stay competitive in the industry.”
