The BIBF receives the Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs and the CEO of Electricity and Water Authority

The Director of the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) Dr. Ahmed Abdulhameed Al Shaikh, received the Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs, His Excellency Engineer Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak and Engineer Shaikh Nawaf bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, the CEO of the Electricity and Water Authority, at the institute’s new headquarters in Bahrain Bay, to discuss various issues of mutual interest, including mutually beneficial collaborations between the two entities in the field of training and development.
During the visit, Dr. Ahmed Al Shaikh welcomed Engineer Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak and Engineer Shaikh Nawaf bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, praising the efforts of the Electricity and Water Authority in providing the best services to citizens and residents in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He also hailed the outstanding efforts made by the Authority during the delivery of electricity and water services to the BIBF’s new building at various stages of the project, which contributed to its completion on time. He also reviewed means to enhance joint collaboration between the BIBF and the Authority in all aspects that would enhance the comprehensive development process in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Dr. Al Shaikh stressed that the BIBF is constantly seeking to develop the tools of cooperation with all public and private institutions in order to develop the government work system in a way that contributes to raising the level of services provided to citizens, by providing the best training services that meet the needs of national cadres.
His Excellency the Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs complimented the advanced level of the BIBF programmes and offerings, which reflect the leading role of the educational institutions in the Kingdom of Bahrain in the world of business and finance and the development of human capital at an advanced global level.
On his part, CEO of the Electricity and Water Authority stated that the institute is a leading and distinguished provider in the field of education and training, and that all programmes and activities offered by the institute contribute to the development of human capital, which is considered the real wealth of nations.
His Excellency the Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs and the CEO of the Electricity and Water Authority also took a tour of the new building, to see the various facilities available and the educational infrastructure that offers students the best training and educational environment and infrastructure to study from.
