The BIBF receives a delegation from the Royal Police Academy

The Director of the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) Dr. Ahmed Abdul Hameed Al-Shaikh received a delegation from the Royal Police Academy, at the institute’s new headquarters in Bahrain Bay, to discuss various topics of mutual interest. This visit comes as a continuation of the mutual cooperation between the two parties to enhance training and academic collaborations and exchange experiences, especially in the fields of scientific research, training and development.
During the meeting, Dr. Ahmed Al Shaikh welcomed the Commander of the Royal Police Academy, Brigadier General Fawaz Hassan Issa Al Hassan and the accompanying delegation, and confirmed that such visits contribute to strengthening the ties between the Ministry of Interior and the institute. He also praised the outstanding efforts exerted by the Royal Police Academy to prepare, qualify and develop employees of the Ministry of Interior to enhance their performance, and to actively contribute to the development of police, legal, social and other human sciences, within a framework of core values and principles derived from the Islamic religion and authentic Bahraini Arab customs.
Dr. Al Shaikh stressed that the BIBF is constantly seeking to develop the tools of cooperation with all public and private institutions in order to develop the sound work processes in a way that contributes to raising the level of services provided to citizens, by providing the best training services that meet the needs of national cadres.
During the visit, the delegation listened to a briefing about the BIBF academic and training initiatives, its departments, workflow, stages of development, and the most important programmes through which the institute seeks to enhance human capital skills in the Kingdom.
The delegation of the Royal Police Academy toured the new building, to see the various facilities available that are equipped with the latest training and education systems.
