The BIBF Marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month

In line with its commitment to the health and well-being of its community, the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) marked Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a series of events and activities.
As part of its efforts to promote awareness and support the cause, the BIBF organised an awareness session for its staff and students in collaboration with Al Kindi Hospital. The session provided crucial insights into the causes, diagnosis, and prevention of breast cancer through early detection, equipping attendees with valuable knowledge about this pressing health issue.
A Pink Pop-up Food Market was also organised at the BIBF campus, with 20% of the sales generated at the market were donated to Think Pink Bahrain Breast Cancer Society.
Furthermore, the BIBF Student Council took an active role in supporting this important cause, organising a fundraising event that united students in a collective effort to raise funds for breast cancer awareness and support initiatives.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month, celebrated globally, serves as a reminder of the importance of early detection and prevention in the battle against breast cancer.
