The BIBF Recognises the Vital Role of its Bahraini Workforce on International Labour Day

The Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) marked International Labour Day by highlighting the vital role played by its national cadres in advancing and developing the institute. With 78% of the total workforce being Bahraini nationals, BIBF takes great pride in its commitment to investing in the development of its young human cadres as future leaders and one of the main pillars for achieving sustainable development in the Kingdom.
The Chief Executive Officer of the BIBF, Dr. Ahmed Al-Shaikh, expressed his pride in the competencies and high aspirations of the national cadres at the institute, which enabled them to contribute effectively to the development in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Ms. Meaad Al Awadhi, Head of Human Resources at the BIBF, reiterated the Institute’s commitment to developing young leaders and investing in outstanding human cadres. The ultimate goal is to make Bahraini citizens the preferred choice for employment in the banking and financial sector, and to achieve global standards.
This commitment to developing the local workforce is founded on a wise vision and high directives from His Majesty the King, with the active support of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. It is the reason why the Kingdom of Bahrain marks International Labor Day annually with confidence and pride, due to the gains and successes achieved in creating a productive and inspiring work environment that fosters excellence and innovation and stays up-to-date with the latest developments and trends in the labour market.
