The BIBF holds the AWS Discovery Day virtual event

As the authorised training provider of Amazon Web Services (AWS), the Bahrain Institute of Banking & Finance (BIBF) successfully concluded the AWS Discovery Day, a one-day free virtual event, designed to educate business leaders and IT professionals on the benefits of computing in the AWS Cloud.

The AWS Discovery Day is particularly relevant for users who have recently signed up with AWS, or for those who simply want to grasp the basics of the AWS cloud platform.

With the attendance of more than 100 participants, the virtual event provided the foundational knowledge and introductory concepts that help them embark into further role-based learning paths.

The BIBF Head of Digital Transformation & Project Management Centre, Mr. Ahmed Naeemi, stated: “Participants learned how to use the AWS services to improve business processes and optimise cost savings, whilst also gaining an understanding of how to benefit from AWS security and compliance services.”

“The event also presented an opportunity to explore the AWS professional qualifications and training courses offered by the BIBF’s Digital Transformation Academy (DTA).” He added.
