The BIBF cooperates with Abdulrahim Al Kooheji Foundation & Bahrain Student Funds Foundation
The Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) signed a memorandum of understanding with Abdulrahim Al Kooheji Foundation in the field of education and capacity-building. The agreement stipulates the means for strengthening cooperation in the field of education and development programmes provided to the local community.
Abdulrahim Al Kooheji Foundation is a charity registered and licensed by the Ministry of Labour and Social Development in the Kingdom of Bahrain, which seeks to support and develop the charitable sector to build a solid foundation for sustainable development, according to a scientific methodology, qualitative initiatives and effective partnerships.
On this occasion, the Director of the BIBF, Dr. Ahmed Abdulhameed Al Shaikh said, “The BIBF aims to reach out to all segments of the community. This agreement with Abdulrahim Al Kooheji Foundation is a reflection of our aspirations to develop Bahraini youth and enable them to reach the highest levels of education and training, to prepare them to be the employees of choice in the market. This partnership will strengthen relations between the two parties, providing educational opportunities that empower youth.”
Mr. Abdulghaffar Abdulrahim Al Kooheji, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Abdulrahim Al Kooheji Foundation, said: “We value this partnership with the BIBF, we see it as a unique partnership that aims to develop the Bahraini youth and enhance their abilities and skills for a brighter future. We are proud of this agreement and we continue to reach out to many organisations that support the youth. ”
The Foundation seeks to provide support and care for leading humanitarian, social and developmental initiatives in charities and social societies amongst the Bahraini community, and to promote development partnerships with official organisations, in order to ensure sufficiency and well-being of families and the society in general.
