The BIBF and Hope Ventures join hands to empower Bahraini youth

The Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hope Ventures, the investment arm of Hope Fund, to empower young entrepreneurs and build their knowledge by providing development opportunities to hone their skills and boost their entrepreneurial spirit.
The two parties will work together to provide entrepreneurship development programmes, especially in the fields of financial acumen, budgeting, and design thinking, to support youth projects and initiatives in various fields.
Furthermore, the BIBF will serve as a Knowledge Partner in ‘Beban’, an entrepreneurial-themed reality show where 12 exceptional local entrepreneurs receive the opportunity to pitch their business concepts to a panel of investors for immediate investment. The BIBF will provide participants training and development in the areas of finance, accounting, soft skills, and digital transformation to develop their entrepreneurial capacity.
On this occasion, the Director of the BIBF, Dr. Ahmed Al Shaikh said, “We are pleased to collaborate with Hope Fund, as this partnership reflects our aspirations to invest in the next generation of bright local entrepreneurs and develop their capabilities, as they represent the Kingdom’s future.”
From her side, The General Manager of Hope Ventures, Ms Fajer AlPachachi stated: “We at Hope are on a mission to foster a nationwide entrepreneurial mindset and outlook in Bahrain, and we are pleased to be collaborating with one of the Kingdom’s leading knowledge and education providers on our journey in fulfilling this purpose. We look forward to bringing our programmes and initiatives to the students at the BIBF.”
