Taqeem Cooperates with the BIBF to Provide Real Estate Valuation Training
The Saudi Authority for Accredited Valuers (Taqeem) signed an agreement with the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) to provide training services related to Real Estate Valuation in Bahrain. The agreement was signed at the BIBF premises in Juffair by Taqeem’s Deputy Secretary General, Mr. Sultan Al Jorias, and the BIBF Director, Dr. Ahmed Abdul Hameed Al Shaikh.
On this occasion, The Deputy Secretary General of Taqeem, Mr. Sultan Al Jorias said, “Our aim is to promote valuation standards, develop and qualify its practitioners in a scientific and professional manner, which contributes to the preservation of rights and helps in taking important decisions in Purchase or Sale of Real Estate, Mergers or Acquisitions, Distribution of Inheritance, etc.” He also added, “We are delighted to cooperate with the BIBF to raise the level of the valuation profession and develop its practitioners in the Arab region.”
The BIBF Director, Dr. Ahmed Abdul Hameed Al Shaikh said, “We are pleased to collaborate with Taqeem, which aspires to develop the valuation profession through accrediting Valuers according to the best standards and practices. Given the importance of the growing and pressing Real Estate sector in the GCC, we are assured that this cooperation will contribute significantly to expand the scope of qualifications and training courses in the Real Estate Valuation profession at the Kingdom of Bahrain, especially in light of the ongoing development initiatives in the region.”
