Solidarity Bahrain B.S.C, one of the largest Insurance companies in Bahrain and a subsidiary of Solidarity Group Holding, has announced its strategic partnership with the Bahrain Institute of Banking & Finance (BIBF), as it joins the corporate sponsorship project for the new BIBF iconic building in Bahrain Bay.
As per the partnership agreement, a study hall will be named after Solidarity Bahrain at the BIBF’s new state-of-the-art building, with an expected inauguration later this year to serve the training needs of the financial sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain and beyond.
This partnership will further enhance Solidarity’s strategic position in the Insurance space, as a major supporter of human capital development in the Kingdom’s Insurance sector.
The national project comes in line with the BIBF’s expansion plans in and outside Bahrain to further accommodate the growing demand and improve the learning experience, representing an important milestone in the development of Bahrain’s financial services sector.
On this occasion, Mr. Ashraf Bseisu, Solidarity Group Chief Executive and Solidarity Bahrain’s Vice Chairman stated “We’re pleased to partner with the BIBF to further support training and development initiatives in Bahrain and develop local competencies, especially in the field of Insurance.” He also added, “This sponsorship stems from the company’s social responsibility to support educational institutions in Bahrain and contribute to the development of the Kingdom of Bahrain in various fields.”
On his part, BIBF’s Director, Dr. Ahmed Al Shaikh stated, “We are extremely delighted to partner with Solidarity Bahrain, a leading company in innovative Insurance solutions, that is committed to building the Insurance workforce of tomorrow.” He also added, “This national project represents a pivotal stage in the journey of human capital development, providing the right training infrastructure for learners to support various sectors in Bahrain and the national economy.”
The construction on the BIBF’s new landmark commenced earlier last year with a total structural area of 25,000 square meters that stands as a luxury waterfront development; providing the latest technologies, cutting-edge facilities and digital innovation to ensure the highest standards of efficiency, and a unique learning experience.
