Insurance Industry Meeting

BIBF, in collaboration with Tamkeen and the Bahrain Insurance Association, conducted a high-level meeting today for the Chief Executive Officers and Training Heads of local insurance companies, at their premises in Juffair. During the session, BIBF Director Solveig Nicklos addressed the training and development requirements of the sector, discussed improvement opportunities, and introduced the new programmes for 2016 to meet the growing needs of a highly skilled labour force.

Ms Nicklos welcomed participants, and stressed the importance of these meetings to support the growth of the industry and further strengthen Bahrain’s position as a regional financial hub. The meeting also included a presentation by Tamkeen on the Enterprise Support Programme, along with a brief demonstration of the unique simulation capabilities of the BIBF Dealing Room.
