Financial Advice Programme (FAP) – Level 3
FAP III is an advanced course in Financial Advice providing a progression pathway from FAP I and FAP II. The focus is on practical application and implementation of the strategies learned with case studies examining how institutions manage investments and investment portfolios.

2 hours | Assessment: 2-hour examination consisting of 30 multiple choice questions on all topics in Part I (Pre-requisite for attending In-class training) |
4 days | Part II – In-class training: Physical training upon completion of part I successfully |
3 hours | Final Exam: 3 hours examination consist of 2 parts. Part A essay Questions and Part B case study |
The qualification will be graded Pass only with a pass mark of 50% |

Who is it for?
Staff members with five years of experience must be enrolled for the Level 3 FAP programme. However, FAP is not mandatory for employees who occupy controlled functions or employees who have the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) qualifications.
Why FAP III?
Curriculum to cover advanced concepts and be designed around advanced case studies with emphasis on real-life scenarios and practical application that can be taken back into the workplace.
What are the Entry Requirements?
Applicants will need to have successfully completed the BIBF Financial Advice Programme I and II or evidence relevant professional experience.
