BIBF’s Flagship Strathclyde MBA ranked in the top 10 of the Complete University Guide 2022

The long-standing partner of the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF), Strathclyde Business School has been ranked in the top 10 of the Complete University Guide 2022 – published in June 2021 – for 23 subject tables across the University.
The Complete University Guide is aimed at applicants applying to UK universities and the subject tables are compiled using criteria which include student satisfaction, research quality and intensity, entry standards and graduate prospects.
In the University League Tables, Accounting and Finance subject has achieved 1st position in the UK, Marketing subject has retained 3rd position in the UK and 1st in Scotland. Economics subject has also retained 8th rank in the UK and consequently, becomes 2nd in Scotland. Business and Management Studies has moved up two places on last year and is now ranked 6th in the UK.
On this occasion, Professor David Hillier, Associate Principal & Executive Dean, Strathclyde Business School, stated, “This is an absolutely wonderful showing during a year that has undoubtedly been a most challenging one in many ways due to the Covid 19 pandemic.” He added, “We are delighted to have continued success in these rankings as a University. From the business school perspective, I couldn’t be more proud to have four of our subjects listed in the top 10 with a top spot for Accounting and Finance.” He added.
On his part, Professor Sir Jim McDonald, Principal and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Strathclyde, said: “I am delighted to see Strathclyde rise up the tables in the latest Complete University Guide, with some excellent increases in a number of subject areas. This reflects the commitment of our staff to our Strategic Vision 2025 and the provision of a first-class education and experience for our students.”
