BIBF students make history in the ACCA Regional Awards Ceremony 2019

The students of the Bahrain Institute of Banking & Finance (BIBF) made history in the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) Regional Awards ceremony 2019 held last month, by receiving the highest number of awards in a given year. These awards are given by the ACCA for achieving the highest grades in the ACCA Skills level & professional level exam papers, where the BIBF students achieved the highest grades in seven different papers.

The ACCA qualification is a globally-recognised Chartered Accounting qualification that provides those working in the financial sector with a set of key skills and abilities that are required to adhere to international best practices and standards.

The BIBF students who enrolled for the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) exam held in December last year have successfully exceeded Global pass rates and achieved the highest grades in seven different ACCA exam papers.

These outstanding results were achieved by Ms.Parishti Rajeev Kapoor who received the Top Achiever award in the Middle East for her outstanding performance in the paper AFM-Advance Financial Management. Top Achievers in Bahrain are Mr.Ali Ansari, Ms.Anwaar Ismail Khamdan, Ms. Maryam Sakrani, Ms. Hawra Hasan, Ms. Sounbal Ijaz and Ms.Meera Sadasivan.

Director of BIBF Dr. Ahmed Al Shaikh has commented, “It is yet another proud moment to hear our students’ names fly high at the ACCA awards ceremony and for BIBF to achieve what no other training provider in Bahrain has achieved before.
