BIBF signs an agreement with NTU

BIBF has recently confirmed the comparability of their International Foundations Programme to the Nottingham Trent University Foundation programme. Pro Vice-Chancellor International, Professor Nigel Healey on behalf of Nottingham Trent University, and BIBF Deputy Director, Dr. Ahmed Al Shaikh signed the MOU earlier this month.

“The agreement means that we can ensure that students of BIBF who follow a specified course may apply for entry to a specified course at NTU”, stated BIBF Deputy Director Dr. Ahmed Al Shaikh.
“The relationships we are developing is a step in the right direction for BIBF to become the preferred partner for institutions and professional bodies wanting to build their presence in the Middle East. In addition, the agreement emphasizes BIBF’s role as a leading partner for higher education in the region with qualifications comparable to the UK education system”.

For her part, Helen Hudson, Head of Postgraduate Professional Programmes at NTU stated, “BIBF has an excellent reputation for educational standards and we are delighted to be able to sign an agreement with the institution so that BIBF students can be able to come to our academic programmes. We very much look forward to welcome them in Nottingham Trent University.”

The agreement means that students who have completed their Foundation Programme at BIBF can now apply for entry into an undergraduate programme at NTU, provided they pass all modules and meet the English language requirements.

BIBF is also a University and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) recognised institution, which means it can counsel and directly assist Foundation Year students when selecting and applying to a UK university.
