The Director of Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance received the Korean Ambassador to Bahrain, H.E. Mr. Hae-Kwan Chung to discuss mutual interest and explore areas of collaboration between the BIBF and the Korean Embassy in the education and training fields.
The South Korean ambassador expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the BIBF for the gracious welcome and keenness to boost bilateral relations. He voiced his country’s keenness on bolstering bilateral cooperation, especially in the education and training fields to serve common interests.
The BIBF Director expressed his appreciation for the efforts undertaken by the Korean embassy in developing bilateral relations and increasing the prospects of cooperation in areas related to academic research and learning. “The Republic of Korea is home to many of the world’s most prestigious higher education institutions, and the Korean ambassador visit paved the way for us to offer more Korean programmes at the BIBF, as we are committed to providing the best qualifications the market has to offer, through our in-house courses and international affiliations.” he stated.
Due to the international trust in the BIBF as a centre for excellence for specialised training and education, an increased number of delegations are visiting the BIBF to discuss aspects of cooperation, whereby training arrangements are done for human capital development regionally and on a global scale.
