BIBF opens admissions for the new academic year

The Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) announced that its admission process is now open for the new academic year 2021-2022.
The BIBF’s Head of Academic Centre, Dr. Raja Bucheeri clarified that applications for September 2021 intake are now open and can be made online through the BIBF website at www.bibf.com/academics/, where students can complete the admission forms and upload the required documents.
She stated that the majors offered are the International Foundation Programme (IFP), and Bachelor’s programmes in Accounting and Finance, Banking and Finance, and Islamic Finance from Bangor University, in addition to a Bachelor’s Programme in Economics and Management from the University of London.
She stated that a virtual open house will be conducted on Saturday, 3rd April 2021 at 10:30 am via Microsoft Teams, to guide the potential applicants on the undergraduate programmes offered at the BIBF.
She also mentioned that classes are currently running virtually for the BIBF International Foundation progeamme and Bangor University students, while LSE students are attending on-campus classes – due to limited number of students enrolled for this programme – with the highest priority to health and safety measures to both students and faculty.
“Our students have thrived through distant learning, and we have seen strong academic results to date, due to the effectiveness of our virtual learning platform MyClass 3.0, offering students the chance to view the recorded sessions at their convenience.” Dr. Raja concluded her statement.
BIBF Director, Dr. Ahmed Al Shaikh stated, “Through its partnerships with leading UK universities like Bangor University and University of London, the BIBF provides a range of undergraduate programmes aimed at students considering a career in Business and Finance, where students can get a world-class international degree in Bahrain.”
Dr. Ahmed Al Shaikh also added, “Introduced over 20 years ago, all our undergraduate programmes are fully recognised by the Higher Education Council of Bahrain, and awarded by highly-ranked UK universities, taking great pride in our graduates that occupy leadership positions in today’s labour market.”
The Director noted that the application process is ongoing until 30th August 2021, and advised students to follow the BIBF social media channels for latest updates and to visit the website for more information about applying for the next semester.
