The BIBF Leadership Development Programme (LDP) Graduates 27 Students in its 8th Batch
The BIBF’s centre for Leadership and Management graduated its 8th batch of the Leadership Development Programme (LDP) which takes place on a yearly basis. The Leadership Development Programme (LDP) is a two week residential programme offered in partnership with one of the prestigious business schools in the USA, the Darden Business School located in the University of Virginia in cooperation with the Emirates Institute for Banking and Financial Studies (EIBFS).
This two week residential executive development programme took place at the Darden campus at the University of Virginia, where executives, senior managers, and outstanding managers went through various case-studies and simulation approaches and were challenged to come up with strategic solutions to real life situations. The programme and discussions offered the participants an opportunity to practice influencing others, understanding differing viewpoints, and thinking strategically amongst other learnings.
The BIBF’s Head of Leadership and Management, Mr. Kadri Rizk addressed this achievement by stating, “The BIBF aims to enhance human capital qualifications with specialised, professional programmes significantly contributing to the reduction of skills gaps between practitioners and labour market needs. This enhanced productivity would strengthen sustainability measures and increase the effectiveness of the local workforce. The BIBF has strategically collaborated with international bodies in the field for over a decade and is an accredited international learning centre for leadership and management, offering a variety of different professional programmes.”
The Leadership Development Programme (LDP) is now supported by Tamkeen and runs on a yearly basis.
