BIBF hosts an Open House for its Undergraduate Programmes
Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) is hosting an open house at its premises in Juffair to highlight its undergraduate programmes this Thursday (27th of August) from 09:00 am to 01:00 pm. Prospective students will have the opportunity to speak to the faculty, interact with alumni and register for the programmes.
The open house will feature scheduled informative sessions on the flexible learning opportunities that includes various options for Bahrain-based schooling combined with studying abroad in the United Kingdom.
The open house will highlight BIBF’s International Foundation Programme, comparable to the General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level and the Scottish Advanced Higher Standard. The programme is recognised by the National Recognition Information Centre (UK NARIC) and allows students to enter directly into an undergraduate degree of their choice anywhere in the United Kingdom, provided the programme’s academic requirements are met. Students can also join any of BIBF’s undergraduate programmes.
Consistently named as one of the most reputable academic institutions in the world, the Bangor University study programme includes degrees in banking, finance, accounting, business studies, and Islamic finance. To date, over 400 graduates have obtained their degrees since the programme’s launch in 2004 and have enjoyed high employability rates with the local banking community that reached 80% according to the latest report by the institute Quality Assurance Department.
In addition, the BIBF offers students the opportunity to study in the prestigious University of London BSc in Economics and Management, with academic direction by the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), one of the constituent Colleges of the University. This means that academics from LSE design the syllabus and learning materials and are responsible for setting and marking all examinations. LSE has a global reputation as one of the foremost specialist social science universities in the world.
The BIBF’s Bangor University and University of London undergraduate programmes are both recognised by the Higher Education Council (HEC), Bahrain.
