BIBF Holds Open House for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Qualification
The Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF), in collaboration with CFA Society Bahrain, hosted an open house to highlight the benefits and opportunities of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification on Wednesday 28th September at BIBF’s premises in Juffair.
The seminar shed the light on the importance of the CFA qualification, with speakers addressing the various challenges facing the financial sector today. Key speakers at the event were Mr. Mahmoud Nawar, CFA, President of CFA Society Bahrain, representatives from Tamkeen and faculty of BIBF.
During the seminar, the BIBF faculty and CFA charter holders shared their experiences and briefed the candidates on the steps towards obtaining this qualification. Additionally, representatives from Tamkeen guided the candidates on how to benefit from Tamkeen’s support, which aims to achieve human capital development on a national level.
On this occasion, the BIBF’s Head of Banking and Accounting Mr. Deen Jayah said, “The CFA qualification is the most prestigious globally-recognised qualification in the financial services field; it gives a solid foundation to our learners in this field. We are extremely proud of our students’ achievements, who have exceeded the global average pass rate in 2016”.
