BIBF holds a “Tech Talks” session on Crypto Assets and Decentralised Finance

The Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) has delivered a virtual “Tech Talks” session, a periodic series of public informational workshops, to shed light on the topic of Crypto Assets and Decentralised Finance (DeFi).
The session was delivered by the Head of IT at the Bahrain Institute for Political Development (BIPD), Mr. Fawaz Shakralla, and moderated by the Head of Digital Transformation and Project Management Centre at the BIBF, Mr. Ahmed Naeemi. The speaker discussed the key opportunities and challenges of crypto assets, examples of crypto assets and how they work, and regulations behind crypto assets.
The Digital Transformation and Project Management Centre at the BIBF holds these sessions with the aim to equip individuals with the know-how knowledge required to thrive in an increasingly digital world. The BIBF holds its monthly “Tech Talks” sessions free of charge to the public, to raise awareness about the latest in technological trends, issues, and applications.
