In 2014, the BIBF launched the Bachelor of Science in Economics and Management degree in collaboration with the University of London International Programmes. Academic direction, which means that staff at this college develop the syllabuses, prepare the study materials and are responsible for the assessment of students, is provided by the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

LSE is a small specialist university with an international intake and a global reach. Its research and teaching span the full breadth of the social sciences, from Economics, Politics and Law to Sociology, Anthropology, Accounting and Finance.

The University of London International Programmes allow participants to work towards a prestigious qualification which will be valued globally, here in Bahrain, and pursue sought-after careers. The academic direction of LSE ensures the academic excellence of the programme, as it has been ranked second in the world for social sciences for the third year in a row, according to the latest global university league table. The programme offered at the BIBF provides participants with in-depth understanding of key economic concepts that are relevant for management. It also introduces them as well as the necessary quantitative methods. The structure of the programme helps participants develop key employment skills such as, analysis, problem solving and self-motivation.
