PROGRAMME DETAILS

Duration:
Prepare for your academic journey with our one-year foundation programme.
Two Semesters:
Complete your foundation in two semesters (September–January & February–June) for a strong academic base.
Tailored Modules:
Choose from two sets of four modules each semester for a structured start.
Supportive Environment:

  1. Statement of Graduation issued by the Ministry of Education. (Minimum average of 75%)
  2. High school leaving diploma
  3. IELTS (UK VI) Score of 6 each band score not less than 5.5 . Applicants scoring an overall of 5.5 can be accepted, but will be required to take a mandatory IELTS preparatory course as well as offered to take-on the alternative to IELTS as an assessment as explained below:
    • *To Score 60% minimum in the BEN100 - Business English Module
    • *To Score 50% minimum in the ACS100 - Academic Study Skills Module
    • *To Score 50% minimum in the AWP100 - Academic Writing & Presentation Skills Module
  1. Statement of Graduation issued by the Ministry of Education.
  2. High school leaving diploma from the High School stamped by the Ministry of Education, Bahrain
  3. Letter of good conduct issued by the High School
  4. Passport Copy
  5. CPR Copy (Front & Back)
  6. 2 passport-sized photographs
  7. Medical Report from a Public Health Centre (Physical Examination including Eyesight and Blood Pressure)
  8. IELTS or alternative (refer to "Entry Requirements")

Start your application by submitting a copy of your passport and CPR, then complete the other requirements as needed.

Students can enroll in either SET I or SET II in any semester

After completing the IFP Programme, the students can choose any of the following pathways:

  1. Proceed to the Undergraduate Degree programmes offered at the BIBF in partnership with Bangor University or University of London.
  2. Go to the UK and proceed to a relevant undergraduate programme.
  • New Fees applicable to 2024-2025 intake onwards
  • A One-Off Registration Payment BHD 100/-
  • BHD 2,500 per Semester (Excluding Books and Lab Fees)

SCHEDULE A MEETING WITH AN ADVISOR

The BIBF International Foundation Programme prepares students for undergraduate degree study at UK universities. Recognized by UK ENIC, it is equivalent to UK A-Levels and the Scottish Advanced Higher Standard. This programme is specifically designed for high school graduates from Bahrain and other GCC states, offering a pathway to UK universities. Unlike other foundation courses that are limited to a single university, the BIBF program is benchmarked by UKENIC, ensuring broad acceptance by UK institutions for a degree relevant to the business/ financial sector.
