About Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF)

Created in 1981, BIBF (originally named the Bahrain Bankers Training Centre) served one main purpose; to satisfy the training and development needs of the local banking sector. By 1994 the number of participants increased from 213 in the first year to 3,572 and underwent a transformation that resulted in the name change.

Today, BIBF qualifies over 20,000 learners a year and provides quality education across all major business disciplines and economic sectors. BIBF has over 300 programmes on offer in a range of specialist areas of expertise and provides an extensive range of globally recognised professional qualifications.
