Dr. Maher A. Aziz Al Shaer has been the Chief Executive Officer of Diyar Al Muharraq Company W.W.L. since October 2012. Dr. Al Shaer serves as Chief Executive Officer of Global Real Estate Development Company. He had joined Al Retaj Holding Company, a Bahrain based Real Estate Development Company as Managing Director in 2007. He was Country Head and Vice President of Asset Management and Development with Majid Al Futtaim Group in charge of the Bahrain City Centre project. Dr. Al Shaer has also held the position of General Manager of Seef Properties, Bahrain. During his 8-year tenure, he successfully managed a mixed portfolio of properties. He served as President of the Middle East Council of Shopping Centres. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centres.
