University of Strathclyde, in partnership with BIBF, offers a Masters in Business Administration degree through Strathclyde Business School. The International part-time MBA is a face-to-face taught programme; it is not an ‘on-line’ programme nor is it a ‘distance learning’ programme.
All classes are held on weekends and evenings at the BIBF facility and comprise:
Intensive Seminars held on weekends (Fridays & Saturdays from 9:00-17:00) conducted on average once a month by Strathclyde academics who fly in from Scotland;
Workshops, again held over weekends and run by Strathclyde faculty; and
Tutorial sessions (3 hours) once a week (Monday (1st session) and Thursday (repeat of Monday)) conducted by local counsellors, approved and appointed by Strathclyde.
Student’s registered in the Bahrain centre can attend the intensive seminars, tutorial sessions and workshops at any of the other international centres.
The minimum entry requirements for the Strathclyde MBA programme are:
Aged 25 or older;
High School Diploma or equivalent;
An undergraduate degree from a recognised university;
A minimum of 3 years work experience in managerial/leadership positions; and
IELTS Score of 6.0 and above or TOEFL Score of 79 and above (iBT)
16 Modules, 4 semesters; 2 years
