Event Overview

The London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) and the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) are hosting the Islamic Finance Dialogue 2025 on Sunday, December 7th, at BIBF in Manama, Bahrain.

This milestone event celebrates 50 years of Islamic finance—a sector that has grown from a niche offering into a global financial system. According to the 2025 Islamic Finance Development Indicator (IFDI) Report, industry assets reached US$5.98 trillion in 2024, marking a 21% annual growth, with projections of US$9.7 trillion by 2029 and sukuk issuance surpassing US$1 trillion.

Under the theme “Markets in Motion: Advancing Islamic Banking, Treasury & Capital Markets,” the dialogue will bring together leading voices from across the industry to explore strategic trends, innovation, and Bahrain’s pivotal role in shaping Islamic banking, treasury, and sukuk markets. Three focused sessions will cover global outlook, smart treasury solutions, and the evolution of Islamic capital markets, offering participants actionable insights and networking opportunities.
