Head of Digital Transformation & Project Management
Mr. Ahmed Naeemi is the Head of Digital Transformation & Project Management at BIBF and joined the organisation in 2014.
Mr. Naeemi has over 16 years of experience in IT management as well as a wide professional knowledge in the applicability of online experience into the real world.
Prior to joining BIBF, he was the Director of MIS in Gulf Finance House (GFH). Furthermore, he was a key leader of IT in several other banking institutions in the Kingdom of Bahrain such as Capivest and National Bank of Bahrain. He also held a position as Head of eMarketing for a major Canadian law firm in Montreal Canada for four years.
Mr. Naeemi is a highly respected individual in the IT and Project Management field whereas he holds several positions with a number of leading non-profit organisations. During his extensive years of professional service, Ahmed managed to successfully execute a number of international events and programmes in Bahrain. He is currently serving on the board of the ICT Specific Council in the Ministry of Labour, and also a board member of the Project Management Institute – Arabian Gulf Chapter, Bahrain. He is also an active member in Bahrain Internet Society and part of the organising committee of the Bahrain eContent Award and the Bahrain International eGovernment Forum.
Mr. Naeemi holds a Master’s of Science degree in Management Information Systems from University of Phoenix, USA, and a Bachelors of Commerce degree majoring in Management Information Systems from Concordia University, Montreal Canada. He also holds a number of certifications in management, leadership, and the IT fields.
Ahmed is an inspiring regional keynote speaker in specialist conferences. He made contributions as a keynote speaker in many conferences such as the 3rd GCC Government Organisation Websites Global Competitiveness Strategy Development Conference held in Dubai in December 2011 and took part in many conferences around the region talking about Online Media and Project Management topics
