Course Description

Cyber security is a top concern for businesses and IT leaders across all industries. They have a great deal of potential threats to deal with, ranging from ransomware and phishing, to advanced threats and cyber espionage. They may soon have something else to worry about: Artificial intelligence (AI).

This is an introductory course on Artificial Intelligence for cybersecurity. The topics may include:

• AI methodology and fundamentals; intelligent agents; search algorithms; supervised and unsupervised learning; decision tree learning; neural networks; deep Learning; nearest neighbour methods.
• The course will try to tackle several critical issues related to AI and ML, such as the AI/ML impact on cybersecurity; how they are used in applications that are currently used in my organization; are there any downside for AI/ML; how the hackers get a good used of such technologies, and many more questions that might come into your mind when thinking about AI/ML.
