Hend Al Marri has extensive experience in strategic and operational leadership, where her current tasks include strategic planning, performance management, and business development. She also has extensive experience in international relations, public relations, project management, and financial management.

She joined Dubai Land Department in 2006 and has held several positions since then. In October 2018, she was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the Dubai Real Estate Institute at Dubai Land Department. One of her major achievements is contributing to the establishment of the Dubai Real Estate Institute where she assumed the role of Director of Academic Affairs and Real Estate Professionals. She successfully prepared and published reports, short- and long-term real estate studies, and updated policies and procedures for education and development, which had an impact on Dubai Land Department’s development.

Al Marri has received several awards and certificates in recognition of her achievements in the various positions she has held, most notably of which are four ‘Best Employee of the Year’ Awards at Dubai Land Department and a Certificate of Appreciation for ‘Distinguished Management Initiative Category’ from the Dubai Government Excellence Programme. She also has several local and international memberships related to the future, innovation, and real estate.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the American University of Sharjah, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems from the Dubai Women’s College.
