SPEAKER PROFILE

Sh. Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa has spanned a career of almost 20 years in Healthcare IT.

Working at the Royal Medical Services and King Hamad University Hospital as a CIO. He oversaw both clinical and administrative systems as well as the underlying infrastructure.

Sh. Khalid holds a masters’ degree in Software Engineering from George Washington University as well as having technical certifications in DB administration and IT Security Architecture.

Currently, Sh Khalid is the project director for the SEHATI-IT project at the Supreme Council of health undertaking the digital transformation of the healthcare sector in the kingdom of Bahrain.
