SPEAKER PROFILE

Dr Christos Gatzoulis is the Head of School of ICT at Bahrain Polytechnic. Christos completed his BSc degree studies in Mathematics at Aristotles University of Thessaloniki, and continued with an MSc in Computer Graphics and Applications and a PhD in Technical Animation at Teesside University.

His research focused on Autonomous Characters and Affective Computing for Computer Games. Following his studies, Christos worked as a Visiting Lecturer at both the Cyprus University of Technology and the University of Cyprus, where he taught courses in Games Programming, Computer Graphics, and Computer Programming.

He has been working for Bahrain Polytechnic for the past 9 years. He has been a member of organizing committees of many ICT related events and competitions as well as member of technical committees of international conferences.
