Phillip Mukhwana is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Centre for Leadership and Management. He joined BIBF as a Lecturer in September 2009 and has a wealth of over 29 years experience developing and delivering solutions in the fields of academic and vocational learning and information technology.

He is a Chartered Manager and a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and is the CMI Programmes Manager at the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF). He is a member of CMI’s Subject Matter Experts (SME) panel as well as CMI’s Practitioner Member Panel. He is also a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and is actively involved in supporting CIPD programmes at the BIBF.

He has worked for several years as a performance management consultant assisting various organisations in the region to implement business process reengineering projects and staff development programmes including on‐job learning and coaching, as well as providing solutions for business management information systems.

His expertise lies in the areas of systems development, human capital development and work based learning and he is an accredited facilitator with the Facet 5 psychometric tools used in professional development programs, including leadership and management development.
