SPEAKER PROFILE

Hassan is a consummate banking executive with over 30 years’ experience in Information Technology, Digital Transformation, and Banking Operations. He is currently the Group Chief Operating and IT Officer for BBK. After graduating with an engineering degree in 1987, Hassan worked for multinational consulting firms (Accenture and Logica) for 15 years in their financial services practice, during which he was involved in a broad range of banking strategy and automation projects. Prior to joining BBK in 2019, he held a number of IT and Digital banking leadership roles with HSBC, Boubyan bank and Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait. He is passionate about simpler banking and customer centricity.
