SPEAKER PROFILE

Ms. Hala Naseeb joined BIBF as a Lecturer in September 2017. She has over 10 years work experience in the insurance and the consultancy industry. Before joining the BIBF, Ms. Hala worked as a Senior Manager – Family Takaful at Medgulf Takaful (formerly Allianz Takaful) on the operations (from policy application to claim stage), product development (product conception until launch) and regulatory side in Bahrain and Qatar. Prior to that, she worked at Ernst & Young at the Islamic Financial Consultancy Group (IFSG) working closely with leading banks and financial institutions on their business needs.

At BIBF, Ms. Hala has conducted a variety of courses across all insurance subjects for different clients across the GCC region in both Arabic & English. She has taught Introduction to Insurance, Insurance Law, Commercial Property & Business Interruption, Medical Insurance and Risk Management.

Ms. Hala Naseeb graduated with a BSc in Management from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences in 2008. She holds the Advanced Diploma in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII), as well as the Associate Diploma from the Life and Health Institute (ALMI). In addition to her native Arabic and fluent English, Ms. Hala can speak French and Korean as well.
