Academic & Executive Learning Center: Academic Coordinator

The Position:

The Academic & Executive Learning Center has a vacancy for an Academic Coordinator to run a Bachelor’s program with a strategic partner. The Role involves managing a team of professional and educational staff. The coordinator will be responsible for selecting lecturers, provide educational and career advice to students and may teach some prescribed courses in the area of specialization.

The Individual:

The candidates are required to be at home with British Tertiary Education System. Should also have an academic qualification preferably related to business studies coupled with a work experience at a higher educational level. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, effective working relationships and capacity to solve and influence decisions are required.

Banking Learning Center : Instructors in Banking and finance

The Position:

Instructors in Banking and finance in the areas of Capital Markets, Risk Management, Treasury and Products. Primary teaching responsibilities will be in the areas of Investments, Risk Management, Corporate Finance & Treasury Operations.
Preferred candidates should be able to demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal skill, develop effective working relationships and have the capacity to solve and influence decisions.

The Individual:

The selected candidate is required to demonstrate mastery of subject areas by furnishing evidence of attaining relevant academic or professional degrees. He should also have relevant experience related to banking & finance.

Insurance Learning Center: Senior Instructor

The Position:

Senior Instructor in Insurance Learning Center. The position is normally taken by well-talented individuals who are highly motivated, reliable and excellent performers. In addition to developing and delivering a variety of Non-Life Insurance courses the Senior Instructor is expected to contribute to the marketing efforts of the center and act for the head in his absence. The position will also require the candidate to be able to contribute to the research program on the various issues facing Insurance Market.

The Individual:

The candidate should have at minimum a 1) university degree and 2) a professional qualification (ACII, FCII, CPCU, etc) in specializations related to Insurance and Risk Management. He/she should also have a minimum 10 years working experience in the Non-Life Insurance Industry. Fluency in spoken and written English is a requirement. Fluency in spoken and written Arabic is an advantage.

Insurance Learning Center: Instructor

The Position:

Instructor in Insurance Learning Center. The position is normally taken by talented individuals who are motivated, reliable and excellent performers. The Instructor is responsible for delivering a variety of Non-Life Insurance courses. He / she will be responsible for preparation, administration and evaluation of assignments and tests. The position will also require the candidate to be able to contribute to other activities within the Insurance Learning Center (e.g. marketing).

The Individual:

The candidate should have at minimum a 1) university degree and 2) a professional qualification (ACII, FCII, CPCU, etc) in specializations related to Insurance and Risk Management. He/she should also have a minimum 5 years working experience in the Non-Life Insurance Industry. Fluency in spoken and written English is a requirement. Fluency in spoken and written Arabic is an advantage.

Leadership & Management Learning Center: Instructor

Academic & Executive Learning Center: Professors and Adjutant Professors

The Position:

Professors and Adjutant Professors Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) is the leading provider of professional training, human resource development, and education in finance and management in the Gulf region. BIBF is seeking professors and adjutant professors in the areas of Economics (micro, macro and managerial), Accounting, Finance, Management, Information Technology, and English Language. The Professors will be primarily responsible to lecture on our University of Wales Validated programs and are expected to teach in other related areas as needed.

The Individual:

The candidates are required to demonstrate mastery of subject areas by furnishing evidence of attaining relevant academic or professional degrees. Prior teaching or related working experience is essential. Preferred candidates would be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, develop effective working relationships, and have the capacity to problem solve and influence decisions. The candidate should have at minimum a masters degree or a professional qualification in specializations related to the business of banking. He should also have relevant experience related to Islamic banking & finance.
