Research at BIBF
Research Advisory Committee (RAC)
A Research Advisory Committee (RAC) has been constituted with the objective of providing strategic guidance to the center for research. The RAC meets twice a year to review the activities of the BIBF center for research. The Head of Center for research is the ex-officio convener of the committee. Department heads at BIBF are the permanent members of the RAC. Other members by invitation include :

  1. Head of Research at Securities and Investment Company (SICO) Bahrain or a nominated representative
  2. Head of research at Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry or a nominated representative
  3. Head of Waqf fund or a nominated representative
  4. Director-financial stability directorate Central Bank of Bahrain or a nominated representative
  5. Executive Director- Economic planning and development- Bahrain Economic Development Board or a nominated representative
  6. Deputy director Bahrain Stock Exchange or a nominated representative
  7. Nominated representative from Bahrain Association of Banks
