Application Criteria
:

Minimum is a Bachelor’s Degree, GPA 2.4 or above or equivalent and a maximum of 3 years from the year of graduation.

English Placement Test

This is an adaptive computer-based test of English language proficiency. The test is untimed, but takes approximately 30 minutes to complete, during which the applicant answers 20-25 multiple-choice questions, related to grammar, vocabulary, listening and reading. Depending on the answers the applicant gives, the level of the test adapts to the ability of the student.

The English Language Assessment is set at a TOEFL score at around 500/IELTS Band 5.5. The English Language Placement Test used at the BIBF classifies test-takers from level 0 (zero) to 5 (five); levels 3, 4, and 5 meet the TOEFL/ IELTS requirement mentioned above.

Psychometric Testing

Verbal reasoning: This test assesses the ability to understand and interpret the logical reasoning of various arguments based on short reading passages. It is consisted of 30 multiple choices questions and takes 20 minutes exactly to complete.

Numerical reasoning: This test assesses the ability to understand tables and interpret data based on statistical information presented. it is consisted of 18 multiple choice questions and takes 20 minutes exactly to complete.

Benchmark: Only candidates who performed better than average in one of the ability tests and about average in the other ability test, at least, and score 3 or above in the English Language assessment were put forward for an interview:

Competency Based Interview

All successful candidates will be interviewed and assessed according to areas that we believe are important for someone to be considered as a promising candidate that can add value to the financial sector.

3. Recommended
4. Strongly Recommended
5. Outstanding

Only those candidates who achieved a rating of 3 or above in the interview will be included in the final list - which is going to be forwarded to our list of banks.
