Testimonials
The MSIF program offered by DePaul University at BIBF was really a specialised one of a kind programme. We have covered contemporary academics issues relating to Islamic Finance as well as market trends. We have enhanced our knowledge theoretically and our experience practically, as well as our way of thinking. Professors were highly knowledgeable and up to the highest professional standards. I really recommend it to those who wish to be professional in the field of Islamic Finance.

About the Centre

Introduction
Islamic finance has emerged as a fast-growing, prominent, alternative financial intermediation mechanism on the world financial stage. The Centre for Islamic Finance was established in 1997 to assist in fostering the growth of the Islamic banking community throughout the Middle East and in other traditional commercial banking communities.

Drawing upon the organised support of the financial sector in Bahrain as a hub of Islamic finance, collaboration with major service institutions such as Accounting and Auditing Organisation for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI) and patronage of the Central Bank of Bahrain, the Centre has gained access to industry experts worldwide to ensure that its courses and programs – both professional and academic - are relevant, contemporary and practical. To that end, the Centre was recognised as the “BEST ISLAMIC FINANCE TRAINING INSTITUTION 2008, 2009 and 2010” by the globally acclaimed Islamic Business and Finance magazine, a sister publication of the Banker.

The learning experiences provided through the Centre focus on operations, products and services, management development, and professional qualifications.

The Centre also provides advisory services to clients wishing to structure Islamic transactions or gain access to the Middle East capital markets.
